Meet Nick:

I’m Nick Weiss, and I’ve been playing professionally since age 15, and teaching since I was 18 years old while attending the rigorous Music Conservatory program at Roosevelt University in Chicago. I’ve since graduated and made a living playing guitar, bass and singing all styles of music you could imagine, as well as mastering albums for bands and writing music for productions.

As A Player:

I pride myself on my reliability, punctuality, and preparedness. When you’re planing your wedding, party, or recording session, the last thing you want to worry about is a flaky musician showing up late – or not at all. I have never once missed a performance.

Oh yeah, I can also play pretty well 🙂 I’m happy to work with you to provide the music that fits the tone of the event, in many cases learning new music for you. I also can arrange pieces for guitar for wedding ceremonies, background music, etc. If you’re not sure I can do what you need, give me a call, I rarely disappoint!

As A Teacher:

I expect my students to take music seriously and learn the basic elements of music – notes, chords, and rhythms – but I make the process fun, and work at the pace of the student. I’ve taught all ages and talent levels from ages 4-adult, learning disabled to genius, and I’ve had great results with the vast majority.
