Piano Lessons San Diego by Nick Weiss Music can bring the joy and fulfillment of music to your life or that of a loved one. Nick specializes in working with beginning piano students ages 5-adult. While he doesn’t perform piano professionally, Nick has received university level piano training. He has the skills to get beginning students through their first 2 to 5 years of piano study. Nick has a deep knowledge of music theory, and can also work with advanced piano players (whose skills exceed his own) who want to better understand theory and songwriting.

Music Lessons for kids and teens have been proven to be beneficial for their overall school performance and well-being. Beyond the measurable improvements in math skills, there is a sense of pride and accomplishment that comes with every learned piece of music. Nick tailors the learning program to the students’ ages and talents to optimize results. Please note, this is not a “playschool” environment.  Feel free to call Nick for an assessment of your young child’s readiness to start. Nick has had real success in note reading and musical performance with students as young as 4 years old, but more typically, 6-8 is an ideal age to start.
